Our Team
Marcy L. Thurman has over 30 years of work experience helping individuals suffering from addiction. She has held positions doing outpatient and inpatient treatment over her career. She has worked closely with families, local resources, the court system – local and federal, and DHR, to name a few. She has been the guest speaker for many Drug Court Graduations and has partnered with others for seminars on helping people with chemical dependency. Her connection and coordination of services have helped many over the last several years.
She is passionate about helping people who want help and is dedicated to facilitating a plan for change to make it happen. She maintains a helpful line of communication for the individual's families as the change process begins. For her, the gratification comes from her witnessing the reunification of families, legal record expungements, and people re-entering the workforce after years of unemployment and addiction. The most rewarding thing she has seen is children reunited with their mothers and fathers.
